This hilarious novel received the Pulitizer Prize.
This is a First Edition , Eigth Printing copy (published by LSU Press in April 1985)
This hardcover book is in good vintage condition. The dustjacket is in solid shape. A lot of shelfwear, but nothing major. The original price ($14.95) is on the inside flap. The book is in good shape, but there's quite a bit of discoloration on the outside of the pages, and there's a couple of smudge stains on the inside of a few pages (looks to be someone read the book with dirty fingers). There's some writing on the first page (see photo). There is no highlighting or torn pages. The spine is still in tight shape.
