Sometimes people give me obscure Chinese electronics kits for Christmas. They're fun to assemble, but I don't always need the finished product.
This is a FM radio I assembled from an "HU-077 FM Radio DIY Kit OLED Display Battery Rechargeable Welding Practice Assembly Electronic Production Kit". If you search for that same string in a search engine, you can find the unassembled version and more detailed specifications.
It is FM only with the usual 87-108 MHz range. It is powered by a standard 18650 lithium ion battery which is included in my assembled unit, but not the original kit. You can use the included micro USB cable to recharge the battery. The frequency, battery level, and signal strength are indicated by a small but vibrant OLED display.
There are a couple tiny cracks in the acrylic case, but it's otherwise as good as new.
