This issue of Young Magazine has the extremely desirable Tetsuo cover. Only 3 issues of Young Magazine had AKIRA on the cover with the exception of a promo cover issue. Thus, these are very special and extremely collectible. Beyond the cover, this issue has a super famous title page. Reminiscent of the icon AKIRA poster with Kaneda walking to his bike. And if you find Kei attractive...well...you'll be happy.
Young Magazine was where AKIRA was first ever published in print. So the magazine issues that contain the serialized version of AKIRA, 20 pages per issue, are super hard to find and very collectible and a treat to own. Only later were they published on their own in the Kodansha 1-6 volume set and subsequently in color and in English with the #1-38 set.
This Young Magazine is very hard to find. It is in nice condition for a plump magazine of this age. Please inspect the numerous photos for condition.
