A super heavy-lift launch vehicle developed by NASA in support of their Apollo program and America’s desire to place human beings on the moon in the 1960s and 70s, everything about the Saturn V was incredible, from the immense power of its launch sequence to the graceful way it pierced earth’s atmosphere and onwards into space. The Saturn V stands tall as one of the great engineering achievements of the 20th century.
